JAWS does not support any Java programs, including our games, under any 64-bit version of Windows.

For all programs, not just ours, 32-bit SAPI voices sometimes crash under the 64-bit version of Windows. However, your game is saved, so you can just restart.

Inspector Cyndi in Newport Detective Games

Image of Inspector Cyndi Newport, Rhode Island in the 1890's was playground to some of the wealthiest people in the U.S. It also hosted Irish immigrants and a thriving merchant community.

You are a detective with the Newport Police Department.

You travel the streets and mansions of Newport, questioning the high and the low, as you solve crimes.

The world famous police detective, Inspector Cyndi, is on loan to Newport from her home in Vienna, capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

She can help you with advice, and a critique of your efforts.
